Role Overview
The Procurement Executive will manage end-to-end sourcing and vendor operations across industrial and manufacturing categories, with a strong focus on the Peenya, Coimbatore, and surrounding industrial belt. Beyond internal procurement, the role involves actively engaging with manufacturers and industrial businesses in these regions — understanding their requirements and positioning Esyprocure's solutions to drive partnerships and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and buyers across industrial and manufacturing categories, with a focus on the Peenya, Coimbatore, and surrounding industrial clusters
- Visit manufacturing units and industrial businesses in the region to build relationships, understand their procurement pain points, and present Esyprocure's offerings
- Execute RFQs, price negotiations, and purchase orders in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align on procurement requirements, timelines, and supplier commitments
- Monitor vendor performance against delivery, quality, and compliance benchmarks and flag risks proactively
- Maintain accurate records of supplier interactions, purchase orders, and ongoing engagements
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- An existing network within the Peenya, Coimbatore, or surrounding industrial areas is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage confidently across the supply chain and a good understanding of manufacturing processes
- A degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
