Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive with at least 1 years of experience in the solar industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring solar components and related materials while ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery to support project and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.
- Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per company procedures.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and stores teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Track material deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Maintain supplier databases and develop relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock replenishment planning.
- Resolve supply chain issues, shortages, and delivery delays.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and purchase records.
Required Qualifications
- Any Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in the solar energy industry.
- Knowledge of solar PV components, electrical materials procurement processes.
- Understanding of vendor management and supply chain practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
