JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Consultant Software Engineer – Oracle HCM with expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud Functional, Technical, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, integrations, technical development, and business process consulting across enterprise environments.
This role requires deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud modules, data migration, integrations, reporting, technical development, solution design, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, HR teams, technical consultants, and leadership to deliver scalable Oracle HCM solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while conducting fit-gap analysis to design Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.
- Lead client workshops, stakeholder discussions, and solution design sessions to translate business needs into scalable Oracle HCM solutions.
- Configure and implement Oracle HCM Cloud modules based on industry best practices and business requirements.
- Design, develop, deploy, and support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) interfaces between Oracle HCM Cloud and enterprise applications using REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.
- Configure Oracle HCM modules including Core HR, Absence Management, Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), Compensation, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Performance & Goals, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Career Development, Opportunity Marketplace, and Dynamic Skills.
- Configure enterprise structures, legal entities, business units, jobs, positions, grades, workflows, approvals, notifications, security roles, security profiles, and Areas of Responsibility (AOR).
- Design and implement Oracle HCM technical solutions using HDL, HSDL, HCM Extracts, Fast Formula, BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Application Process Flows, and Personalizations.
- Raise and manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) while working with Oracle Support to resolve complex technical and functional issues.
- Participate in business development, solution estimation, proposal preparation, and technical consulting activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 4-10 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Functional, Technical, or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Strong expertise across Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Absence Management, Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), Compensation, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Performance & Goals, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Career Development, Opportunity Marketplace, and Dynamic Skills.
- Hands-on experience configuring Oracle HCM Cloud enterprise structures, workflows, approvals, HCM Security, Security Profiles, and Areas of Responsibility (AOR).
- Extensive experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and enterprise application integrations.
- Strong technical expertise in HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL), HCM Extracts, Fast Formula, BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), SQL, PL/SQL, Application Process Flows, Oracle HCM Personalization, and data migration.
- Experience designing scalable Oracle HCM technical and functional solutions for enterprise implementations.
- Proven experience leading client workshops, requirement gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, solution design, end-user training, and post-go-live support.
- Must have successfully delivered at least three end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and test cycle management is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
