Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have deep experience of networking technologies, such as routing including hand on experience on running routing protocol like BGP, EIGRP and OSPF; switching, Aruba wireless networking ; managing heterogeneous environment & generate metrics related to Network performance, capacity, availability, and will also have a strong background in network performance management, service delivery and strategic operations planning with a strong technical orientation & creative in problem solving. Key responsibilities include: • This is a hands-on technical role. • Provide tier 2+ (professional level) operational support to resolve critical business issues that require deep network troubleshooting techniques and performance analysis. • Independently own the Network Infrastructure support solving complex issues and suggest design modifications as appropriate. - Resource must have good and vast knowledge and hand on experience on enterprise routing and should be able to support both Cisco and Aruba Platform. • Resource must have experience on LAN switching including troubleshooting various LAN related issues, like VTP, STP, and should know packet capture on various platforms. • Must have been working on multiple routing technologies and should be able to resolve issues related to BGP, EIGRP and OSPF. • Knowledge of maintaining SDWAN Network. • Knowledge and managing the Cisco LAN. • Must know how to configure Cisco Switches, Routers and Aruba Wireless LAN Controllers. - Perform monitoring and maintenance of overall environment working with experienced team members. - Perform change controls. Update process documentation and team portals - Participate in troubleshooting, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis & Root Cause Analysis. - Communicate with peers and managers regarding system issues & participate in 24x7 on-call. - Automate operational tasks to make processes simpler and more robust. - Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a dynamic environment, with tight deadlines concurrently. • Manage network service providers and matrixed resources • Refresh heat-maps, create Visio and operations plans for campus networks, and all WAN, LAN, and WLAN connectivity. • Monitor and analyze statistical data to develop improvement plans for network and application performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide Technical Support For Lan/Wan Networking Issues By Troubleshooting And Resolving Incidents To Meet Agreed Service Level Agreements, Ensuring Minimal Disruption To Operations.
2. Conduct Root Cause Analysis On Escalated Issues, Employing Diagnostic Tools And Methodologies To Identify Underlying Problems And Implement Effective Solutions.
3. Enhance Operational Efficiency By Updating And Managing The Knowledge Base, Documenting Resolutions, And Sharing Best Practices To Foster A Culture Of Continuous Improvement.
4. Train And Mentor New Team Members And Analysts, Facilitating Knowledge Transfer And Ensuring Adherence To Quality Standards And Company Policies.
5. Ensure Positive Customer Experience By Optimizing First Call Resolution Rates And Minimizing Case Reopens, Ultimately Aiming For High Customer Satisfaction (Csat) Scores.
