Role & responsibilities
1. Packing Operations & Dispatch Quality

Plan and supervise daily packing operations to meet dispatch SLAs and order-accuracy targets

Enforce product-specific packing standards across grow bags, seeds, fertilizers, planters, tools, and fragile items
-
Drive zero-damage and zero-wrong-dispatch through structured quality checks at every stage
-
Verify barcode scanning, SKU matching, and invoice accuracy before handover to dispatch
2. Team & Floor Management

Lead, allocate, and supervise the daily workload of the packing team

Manage attendance, shift rosters, and manpower planning aligned to daily order volume
-
Train new joiners on packing SOPs, productivity standards, and quality checkpoints
-
Maintain discipline, safety, and 5S housekeeping on the packing floor
3. Packing Material & Cost Control

Monitor stock levels of cartons, tapes, fillers, bubble wrap, and protective material
-
Raise timely indents to prevent dispatch stoppages
-
Control wastage and drive cost-per-order efficiency on packing material consumption
-
Coordinate repacking of RTO and return inventory with warehouse and CX teams
4. Coordination & Reporting

Work closely with warehouse, inventory, and dispatch teams for smooth order flow

Plan manpower and capacity for peak periods, sale events, and seasonal surges

Track and report daily KPIs orders packed, packing accuracy, error rate, and pendency to the Operations Head
Candidate RequirementsMust-have
-
1 to 3 years of experience as Packing Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, or Shop-floor Supervisor, preferably in e-commerce, D2C, or FMCG operations

Proven team-handling and manpower-planning experience (10+ headcount)

Hands-on knowledge of packing SOPs, quality checks, and dispatch processes

Attention to detail with a quality-first and cost-conscious mindset
Good-to-have

Working knowledge of OMS / WMS or inventory tools (Unicommerce, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or similar)

Exposure to Amazon FBA or Shopify dispatch workflows

Basic Excel and daily reporting skills
