Summary
Seeking a Data Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making. This role is responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to generate actionable insights that will inform business strategy and improve performance.
Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and validate data from various primary and secondary sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies using statistical techniques.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, finance) to define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing data-driven recommendations and solutions.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities and streamline data collection and analysis procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Work with management, development teams, and other stakeholders to define business needs, prioritize information requirements, and implement data-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or in a relevant analytical role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with SQL for data querying and management.
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups, advanced formulas, etc.).
- Experience with data analysis and manipulation using Python or R is a plus.
- Strong skills in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to explain findings to various stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience: Prior experience as a data analyst or in a similar analytical role is preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
