Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to manage installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment within an API pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The candidate will ensure uninterrupted and safe plant operations while complying with regulatory and EHS standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Installation & Maintenance
- Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and systems.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of:
- Motors
- Control panels
- MCC (Motor Control Centres)
- VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
- Lighting systems
- Utility equipment
2. Troubleshooting & Repair
- Identify electrical faults and perform timely repairs.
- Use testing instruments such as:
- Multimeter
- Clamp meter
- Insulation tester (Megger)
- Minimize downtime through effective fault diagnosis.
3. Electrical System Management
- Maintain and inspect:
- Circuit breakers
- Control panels
- Fuses
- Cabling systems
- Earthing systems
- Ensure continuous and safe operation of plant electrical infrastructure.
4. Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to electrical safety standards and plant EHS guidelines.
- Identify and report potential electrical hazards.
- Follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP and pharmaceutical industry standards.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance logs and breakdown reports.
- Record equipment history and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for smooth plant operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
