Job Summary
We are looking for a result-oriented Sales Manager – Solar to drive business growth through strong lead generation, team leadership, and end-to-end sales management. The role requires someone who can build and lead a sales team, close high-value solar projects, and contribute strategically to business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular market visits to generate direct leads and business opportunities
- Drive lead generation and develop new business opportunities in the solar market.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
- Handle the complete sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closure.
- Build and maintain strong client and channel partner relationships.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close profitable solar deals.
- Train, mentor, and onboard new hires to build a high-performing sales team.
- Work closely with technical teams for proposals and project handovers.
- Contribute business ideas, market strategies, and growth initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in solar/renewable energy sales with team-handling exposure.
- Strong skills in lead generation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Ability to manage targets, build teams, and scale business operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with reporting.
