Role Summary
A Makeup Trainer is responsible for teaching and mentoring students in professional makeup artistry through both theoretical and practical training sessions. The trainer ensures students develop industry-relevant skills and are prepared for certification and employment opportunities in the beauty and wellness sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom and hands-on practical training in makeup techniques according to the Lakmé Academy curriculum.
- Train students in bridal, fashion, party, HD, airbrush, and corrective makeup techniques.
- Demonstrate professional makeup applications and industry best practices.
- Assess student performance through assignments, practical evaluations, and internal assessments.
- Resolve student queries and provide guidance on career development in the beauty industry.
- Maintain training records and ensure quality standards are met.
- Stay updated with the latest beauty, fashion, and makeup trends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10+2 (Higher Secondary) qualification.
- Diploma/Certification in Makeup, Cosmetology, or Beauty & Wellness from a recognized institute.
- Specialized certification in makeup artistry preferred.
- 1–2 years of makeup industry or training experience preferred; freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered in some locations.

Reporting To
- Academic Head / Center Manager / Regional Training Manager (depending on academy structure).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
