Must- Have
- Experience with Linux technologies (Red Hat Rhel 6-7, Satellite 6, IDM)
- Exp of general IT infrastructure and networking
- Ability to deliver on several projects simultaneously and demonstrate proper judgement in assessing priorities
Good - Have
- Cloud, Infrastructure as Code, Containers, is an asset
- Continuous learning to keep up to date with latest technology innovations and roadmaps
- French and English (spoken and written)
Responsibility:
- Contribute to the technical solution architecture by identifying the existing capabilities of Linux & related technologies already in place
- Interface with various vendors for selection and acquisition of software, hardware and other equipment as required
- Translate the technical solution architecture into a detailed infrastructure and technology components design, and ensure the seamless integration of all components
- Define infrastructure and technology installation specifications including automation, monitoring, high availability and disaster recovery
- Work in collaboration with project managers to define work breakdown structure, estimate project effort and project schedule
- Guide various SMEs through technical design propositions and specifications, and address any potential design or support issues
