Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor hospital infection prevention and control policies and protocols.
- Conduct regular infection control rounds across all clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Monitor compliance with hand hygiene, PPE use, isolation precautions, and aseptic practices.
- Monitor and report Hospital-Acquired Infections (HAIs) and infection trends.
- Maintain infection surveillance data and prepare periodic reports.
- Conduct regular audits of infection control practices and identify gaps.
- Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation, handling, and disposal practices.
- Monitor sterilization and disinfection practices in OT, CSSD, ICU, wards, and other relevant areas.
- Conduct infection control training and awareness programs for nurses, doctors, technicians, housekeeping, and other hospital staff.
- Investigate suspected outbreaks and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with the Infection Control Committee for infection prevention initiatives.
- Monitor environmental hygiene, cleaning practices, and disinfection procedures.
- Ensure proper implementation of isolation protocols for infectious cases.
- Participate in antimicrobial stewardship and antibiotic surveillance activities as applicable.
- Maintain all infection control records, checklists, audit reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with NABH and other applicable infection prevention and control requirements.
- Identify infection control risks and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Promote a culture of safety, hygiene, and infection prevention throughout the hospital.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
