The Life & Mediclaim Insurance Portfolio Analyst is responsible for evaluating insurance portfolios and conducting in-depth analysis of insurance policies.
The role includes reviewing policy coverage, exclusions, claims trends, risk exposure, medical records where applicable, regulatory compliance, and providing recommendations to internal teams and clients.
This position does not require any sales.
Key Responsibilities
· Evaluate insurance and mediclaim policies as per client needs.
· Analyse coverage, exclusions, deductibles, premiums, and policy terms.
· Identify coverage gaps and recommend improvements.
· Assess risk exposure and adequacy of insurance coverage.
· Review claims data, identify trends, and support claims process improvements.
· Evaluate medical records, diagnoses, treatment plans, and hospitalization details where required.
· Prepare analytical reports and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
· Ensure compliance with applicable insurance regulations.
· Maintain accurate documentation and policy records.
· Use Excel and related tools to analyse insurance data and identify process improvements.
· Coordinate with internal teams to resolve policy-related queries.
· Stay updated on insurance regulations, products, and medical developments.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
· Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, PDF tools, and document management systems.
· High attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and teamwork.
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
