About the Role
Executive Tracks Associates Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Practice Head – IT Vertical to lead and expand our Executive Search practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leadership hiring for IT organizations, a proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and P&L management, along with expertise in building and scaling recruitment practices.
This role requires a seasoned executive search professional who has successfully delivered senior leadership mandates, including VP, Director, CXO, and other executive-level positions across geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the IT Executive Search practice with complete ownership of the business vertical.
- Execute high-impact executive search and leadership hiring assignments for IT clients.
- Build and manage long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted talent advisor.
- Drive new business development and acquire new clients to expand the practice.
- Manage the P&L of the IT vertical and ensure sustainable business growth.
- Set up and scale new business verticals/practices as required.
- Partner with clients throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from requirement gathering to successful closure.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for leadership and executive hiring.
- Identify, engage, and place VP, Director, Senior Leadership, and CXO-level professionals.
- Build and maintain a strong network of senior professionals across the IT industry.
- Assess business requirements and evaluate candidate suitability through structured assessments.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels, executive search methodologies, and market mapping techniques to identify top talent.
- Build and maintain a robust leadership talent pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to deliver strategic hiring solutions.
- Lead end-to-end executive search assignments while mentoring and managing a high-performing recruitment team.
- Ensure consistent achievement of revenue, hiring, and client satisfaction targets.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in Executive Search and Leadership Hiring.
- Strong experience in hiring for IT organizations across leadership levels.
- Demonstrated success in placing VP, Director, Senior Leadership, and CXO-level executives.
- Proven expertise in executive search, headhunting, market mapping, and talent intelligence.
- Experience in P&L management and driving business growth.
- Strong track record in new client acquisition and business development.
- Experience in setting up and scaling new recruitment practices or business verticals.
- Excellent stakeholder management, client relationship, and consulting skills.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing abilities.
- Experience leading and mentoring recruitment teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple executive search mandates.
Preferred Experience
- Executive Search Firm or Leadership Hiring Consulting background is mandatory.
- Specializes in placing senior technology and IT leadership talent (e.g., CTO, CIO, Head Engineering, Product Manager).
- Strong network within the IT leadership ecosystem.
