Job Summary:
Mewar Palace Resort is looking for a responsible and hardworking Housekeeping Boy to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the hotel premises. The candidate will assist guests, support room service operations, and help during banquet functions to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and bathroom sanitation.
- Change bed linens, towels, and toiletries as per hotel standards.
- Ensure rooms are properly arranged and ready for new guests.
- Public Area Cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby, corridors, staircases, reception area, and other public spaces.
- Regularly remove trash and ensure hygienic conditions throughout the property.
- Guest Assistance
- Assist guests with basic needs such as luggage handling and directions within the hotel.
- Respond politely and promptly to guest requests.
- Room Service Support
- Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms when required.
- Assist kitchen or service staff in clearing trays and maintaining cleanliness after service.
- Banquet Hall Duties
- Assist in setting up and cleaning the banquet hall before and after events.
- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other banquet equipment.
- Support staff during banquet parties and events to ensure smooth service.
- General Duties
- Follow hotel hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or lost and found items to the supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of housekeeping duties.
- Physically fit and able to handle cleaning and lifting tasks.
- Polite behavior and good communication with guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including during banquet events.
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
Working Hours:
As per hotel shift schedule.
Salary:
As per company standards / experience.
