Job summary We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to lead our backend development team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in PHP frameworks, hands-on experience in leading projects, mentoring junior developers, and delivering scalable web applications.
Qualifications and skills:
· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
· Prior experience as a Team Lead / Senior Developer in a software firm.Proven experience (3+ years) in PHP development using frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
· Strong understanding of MySQL, RESTful APIs, and MVC architecture.
· Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end integration.
· Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS / DigitalOcean) and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of PHP developers through all stages of development.
· Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable PHP-based applications.
· Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
· Review code, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to best coding practices.
· Optimize application performance and ensure smooth deployment and maintenance.
· Manage version control (Git) and ensure proper documentation for all projects.
· Participate in sprint planning, project estimation, and client discussions when needed.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
