Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Elderly Care Intervention Specialist to provide home-based, non-pharmacological support for individuals with dementia and age-related cognitive challenges. This role focuses on assessment, care planning, well-being enhancement, and caregiver education to improve overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment & Care Planning:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ cognitive, emotional, and functional needs.
Develop individualized care plans to enhance daily living and overall well-being.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals for a holistic approach to elderly care.
Intervention & Support:
Implement personalized strategies to support cognitive and emotional well-being.
Provide guidance and education to families and caregivers for effective care management.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of client progress and care strategies.
Share insights with families and healthcare teams to ensure continuous care improvement.
Continuous Learning & Development:
Stay updated with best practices in dementia care and elderly support.
Qualifications & Skills:
MSW/ Msc. Psychology/ Bsc. Psychology with minimum 1 Year Experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and families.
Empathy, patience, and a passion for working with the elderly.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
