Job Summary
Trishul Structure & Fabrication is looking for an experienced Fabrication Structural Engineer to handle structural steel fabrication engineering activities, including 2D & 3D drawing preparation, BOQ estimation, structural feasibility review, and technical coordination for fabrication and erection projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in heavy structural steel fabrication, industrial projects, and practical knowledge of fabrication and site execution processes. The role requires coordination with production teams, project managers, clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D structural steel fabrication and erection drawings.
- Develop GA drawings, fabrication drawings, connection details, and assembly drawings.
- Prepare BOQ, material take-offs, quantity calculations, and project estimation reports.
- Review structural designs and assess feasibility for fabrication and site execution.
- Provide technical inputs and recommend modifications for practical and cost-effective solutions.
- Review connection details, load requirements, and fabrication methods.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, project teams, and fabrication departments for technical discussions.
- Conduct site visits for:
- Structural inspections
- Measurement verification
- Installation feasibility checks
- Technical problem-solving
- Provide technical support and guidance to erection teams during installation activities.
- Ensure drawings and designs comply with applicable IS Codes, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Maintain drawing revisions, technical documentation, and project records.
- Resolve fabrication and site-related structural issues.
- Support tendering, estimation, planning, and execution teams.
- Suggest improvements for material optimization and efficient fabrication practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in:
- Civil Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience in structural steel fabrication, industrial projects, or related engineering roles.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of heavy structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
- Experience in preparing fabrication drawings and structural detailing.
- Good understanding of:
- Structural steel connections
- Load considerations
- Fabrication feasibility
- Site execution requirements
- Ability to review, modify, and improve structural designs based on fabrication and site conditions.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, and material planning.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
