Role Overview
The Mathematics & Science Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students following the ICSE and CBSE curriculum, building strong conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities while creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and Science to students from Classes VI–X (or assigned grades) as per ICSE and CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.
- Deliver interactive, concept-based classroom sessions.
- Design worksheets, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and conduct remedial or enrichment sessions.
- Integrate practical demonstrations, experiments, activities, and technology into teaching.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
- Prepare students for school examinations and board-oriented assessments.
- Foster analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and scientific inquiry.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to improve curriculum delivery.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student well-being.
Required Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech (in any stream, have exposure of competitive Exams)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline.
Pay: ₹350.00 - ₹1,000.00 per hour
