Position Title: Weaver / Operator – Robotic Tufting Machine
Department: Production – Tufting

Location: Manufacturing Unit, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh
Job Purpose
To operate and monitor robotic tufting machines for the production of carpets and rugs as per approved designs, quality standards, and production targets while ensuring efficient machine utilization, minimal wastage, and adherence to safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Operation
- Operate robotic tufting machines for manufacturing carpets and rugs according to production plans.
- Load and set up design files, patterns, and machine parameters as per production requirements.
- Ensure proper machine start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures.
- Monitor machine performance throughout the production process.
2. Production Execution
- Produce carpets as per approved specifications, including:
- Design and pattern
- Dimensions
- Pile height
- Yarn type
- Color placement
- Tuft density
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure uninterrupted machine operation and minimize downtime.
3. Yarn & Material Handling
- Load and monitor yarn cones and creels.
- Ensure correct yarn counts, shades, and quality are used according to production instructions.
- Monitor yarn consumption and report shortages or abnormalities.
- Minimize material wastage during production.
4. Quality Control
- Inspect carpets during production for:
- Pattern accuracy
- Color matching
- Tuft consistency
- Missing tufts
- Loop and cut pile quality
- Surface defects
- Identify defects and immediately report deviations to supervisors.
- Ensure carpets meet approved customer specifications and quality requirements.
5. Machine Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Monitor machine settings and operating conditions.
- Detect and rectify minor operational issues such as:
- Yarn breakage
- Needle blockages
- Tension variations
- Pattern deviations
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for major machine breakdowns.
6. Preventive Maintenance Support
- Perform routine machine cleaning and housekeeping.
- Conduct basic preventive maintenance as per standard operating procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness around the machine and work area.
- Report machine wear, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly.
7. Production Records
- Record daily production output.
- Maintain machine operation logs and downtime records.
- Report production losses, wastage, and quality issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of completed jobs.
8. Workplace Safety
- Follow all safety guidelines and operating procedures.
- Use prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
- Immediately report safety hazards and incidents.

Educational Qualifications
- High School (10th/12th Pass) or equivalent.
- ITI, Diploma, or vocational training in Textile Technology, Mechanical Operations, or related fields preferred.
ExperienceFor Weaver / Operator
- 2–5 years of experience in carpet tufting, textile machinery, or automated manufacturing operations.
Preferred Experience
- Experience operating robotic tufting machines, CNC tufting systems, or automated carpet manufacturing equipment.
- Experience in hand-tufted, machine-tufted, or custom carpet production.

- Coordinate with Design, CAD, and Quality departments to ensure carpets are produced exactly as per approved samples.
This role is critical in ensuring that robotic tufting operations deliver high-quality carpets with precise design execution, optimum productivity, and minimal material wastage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
