Job Description
Building and scaling a global Supplier Management ecosystem to support supplier onboarding, supplier master data governance, lifecycle management, compliance, risk management, supplier performance relationship management and supplier experience capabilities across segments and regions.
The Supplier Management Platform Lead is accountable for the end-to-end technical delivery, support, integration, and operational stability of the supplier management landscape, including HICX, SAP Ariba Supplier solutions, Supplier Gateway, Supplier Experience Portal, and related integrations with SAP and enterprise platforms.
This role drives platform standardization, automation, data quality, and scalable supplier enablement processes while ensuring seamless integration, operational excellence, governance compliance, and an optimized supplier experience across the enterprise
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end technical ownership and support of the Supplier Management ecosystem, including HICX, SAP Ariba supplier solutions, Supplier Gateway, Supplier Experience Portal, and associated integrations.

Own the technical roadmap, platform configuration, integrations, workflows, forms, validations, dashboards, and automation capabilities supporting supplier onboarding, lifecycle management, compliance, and master data governance processes.

Partner with Global Process Owners, Enterprise Architects, Product Managers, platform teams, and vendor partners to deliver scalable supplier management capabilities aligned to enterprise standards and operating models.

Serve as the technical authority for supplier management platforms, advising on solution design, integration patterns, configuration strategy, automation opportunities, and operational best practices.

Drive delivery and operational support for enhancements, defects, platform releases, and production stability across the supplier management landscape.

Lead integration architecture and support activities across SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, middleware platforms, identity management, risk/compliance systems, and external supplier-facing solutions.

Ensure high platform reliability, data quality, process consistency, and operational governance through monitoring, KPI reporting, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead supplier master data migration, validation, reconciliation, and onboarding readiness activities during deployments, acquisitions, or regional rollouts.

Support supplier digital experience initiatives by improving supplier onboarding journeys, communication workflows, self-service capabilities, and supplier enablement processes.

Mentor and guide analysts, technical resources, and vendor teams on engineering standards, release discipline, integration best practices, and operational excellence

The Supplier Management Platform Lead operates within Global Services (MGS) Digital Technologies as part of the global Supplier Management product team supporting enterprise supplier lifecycle and supplier enablement capabilities.

This role collaborates closely with Global Process Owners, Enterprise Architecture, Product Managers, Functional Experts, Program Managers, vendor delivery partners, and regional business stakeholders to deliver scalable and standardized supplier management solutions across the enterprise.

The position participates in governance forums, product ceremonies, release planning, backlog refinement, and operational review meetings to ensure successful platform delivery and continuous improvement.

The role also works closely with vendor partners and cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging technologies, best practices, and automation opportunities that enhance supplier experience, operational efficiency, and data governance capabilities
Job Specifications/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business Management
-
Experience delivering enterprise supplier management, supplier lifecycle management, master data governance, or supplier enablement solutions
-
Deep understanding of supplier onboarding, supplier lifecycle, master data governance, validation rules, and the downstream impact on ERP processes
-
Proven track record integrating supplier platforms with SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA / ECC, SAP Ariba and middleware (BTP Integration Suite, PI/PO, Boomi, MuleSoft or equivalent) using REST, SOAP, IDoc, cXML and event-based patterns.

Strong reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills; able to triage production incidents, perform root cause analysis on data integrity and integration failures, and design durable fixes.
