Job Description – Head of Quality

Salary: ₹4.8 – ₹7.8 LPA CTC (₹40,000 – ₹65,000/month)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Head of Quality to lead the organization's quality function and drive excellence across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing robust Quality Management Systems (QMS), leading ERP implementation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This leadership role will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain organization-wide Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Lead ERP implementation and quality process digitization initiatives.
- Establish, monitor, and review departmental KRAs and KPIs.
- Drive Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Supplier Quality, and Customer Quality initiatives.
- Lead NDT inspection activities and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing quality team.
- Implement and sustain 5S, Kaizen, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement programs.
- Develop SOPs, quality procedures, process controls, and audit systems.
- Collaborate with Design, Production, Purchase, and Service teams to achieve quality objectives.
- Plan and conduct internal audits, supplier audits, customer audits, and compliance activities.
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards and other applicable quality regulations.

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7–10+ years of experience in Quality Management within Construction Machinery, Heavy Engineering, Fabrication, or Manufacturing industries.
- Mandatory NDT Certification (Level II/III preferred).
- Strong exposure to ISO systems, quality audits, process improvement, and quality excellence programs.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
