Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Operations is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and controlling the complete operational activities of the company. This role ensures smooth coordination between all departments, efficient work allocation, timely project execution, resource management, staff productivity, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management
- Monitor day-to-day operations across all departments.
- Allocate work based on project priorities and department capacity.
- Ensure smooth execution of projects from sales handover to final completion.
- Track daily progress of all ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with department heads for timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Resolve operational issues and bottlenecks.
2. Project Coordination
- Monitor all residential and commercial interior projects.
- Ensure project schedules are maintained.
- Coordinate between Sales, Design, Estimation, Procurement, Production, Site Team, and Accounts.
- Conduct regular project review meetings.
- Escalate delays and recommend corrective actions.
3. Department Coordination
Coordinate daily with:

Ensure seamless communication and proper information flow between departments.
4. Work Allocation
- Assign daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- Monitor employee productivity.
- Balance workload among teams.
- Follow up on pending activities.
- Ensure accountability for assigned work.
5. Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare project schedules.
- Develop manpower deployment plans.
- Monitor installation schedules.
- Coordinate factory production timelines.
- Ensure material availability before site execution.
6. Resource Management
- Monitor manpower utilization.
- Allocate vehicles and logistics.
- Coordinate equipment and tools.
- Manage subcontractor scheduling.
- Ensure efficient use of company resources.
7. Site Monitoring
- Review daily site progress.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Monitor installation quality.
- Resolve site execution issues.
8. Quality Control
- Ensure work meets company quality standards.
- Conduct periodic inspections.
- Monitor workmanship.
- Coordinate rectification work.
- Ensure customer satisfaction before project handover.
9. Client Coordination
- Attend client meetings when required.
- Address operational concerns.
- Provide project status updates.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally.

- Daily Operations Report
- Project Status Report
- Pending Work Report
- Department Performance Report
- Resource Utilization Report
- Weekly Progress Report
- Monthly Operations Summary
- Delay Analysis Report
11. Process Improvement
- Identify operational inefficiencies.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Improve workflow between departments.
- Implement productivity improvement initiatives.
- Reduce project delays and operational costs.
12. Team Leadership
- Guide department coordinators.
- Conduct daily review meetings.
- Monitor employee performance.
- Support training and development.
- Foster teamwork and accountability.
13. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure company policies are followed.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Monitor safety practices at sites and factory.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- MBA (Operations) is an added advantage.
- 5–8 years of experience in operations or project management, preferably in interior fit-out, construction, or turnkey projects.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
