An Aerospace Marketing Manager develops and executes strategic campaigns to promote aviation products, services, or manufacturing capabilities. They act as the bridge between engineering, sales, and clients to drive revenue, manage brand positioning, and secure high-value government or commercial contracts.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Campaigns: Create and execute integrated marketing, lead-generation, and branding campaigns across digital, print, and paid media.
- B2B & Government Relations: Build relationships with key stakeholders in commercial airlines, defense sectors, PSU (Public Sector Units), and government agencies (like the Ministry of Defence).
- Bid & Tender Management: Support the sales and commercial teams by managing the documentation, proposals, and bidding processes for aerospace tenders.
- Market Analysis: Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market data to identify new business opportunities.
- Trade Shows & Events: Manage the company’s presence, exhibitions, and sponsorships at high-level aerospace and defense conferences.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the aviation, defense, or precision manufacturing industry.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze campaign ROI, interpret technical data, and optimize marketing spend.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively convey highly technical product value propositions.
- Educational Background: Typically requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aerospace Engineering, or Mass Communication.
