Job Summary: Skilled developer with hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to convert prototype to Enterprise grade production ready code. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, experience with modern software development practices, and a passion for leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with insurance SMEs to understand business requirements and translate them rapidly into working softwareTake business prototypes developed in Power Apps /power platform and rapidly converting them into production software.Use GitHub Copilot and other AI development tools to accelerate code development and improve developer productivity.Rapidly develop production ready Enterprise grade code for deployment based on the prototype givenReview AI-generated code for quality, security, performance, and compliance with coding standards.Integrate GitHub Copilot into software development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Skill Requirements
GitHub Copilot, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, GitHub, Software Development, Code Review, Azure/AWS, CI/CDHands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.Strong programming skills in one or more languages: C# ,Python, Java ,JavaScript/TypeScript,Node.jsExperience with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar version control systems.Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Other Requirements
Preferred Skills: Background or exposure to insurance, financial services, or a similarly regulated industryExperience with Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, or Dynamics 365Familiarity with low code to pro-code migration patternsKnowledge of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and Generative AI concepts.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of software development experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience with GitHub code developmentExperience implementing AI-assisted development tools in enterprise environments is preferred.
