Job Description
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for monitoring, inspecting and proposing measures to correct or improve an organization’s final products in order to meet established quality standards.
Essential Functions
- Review and confirm that the processes are performed in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Perform job shadowing to ensure work is performed in accordance with Operations Manuals.
- The primary purpose of these reviews and monitoring is to ensure that executed work is completed in accordance with the established controls and regulatory requirements.
- Conducts the daily, ongoing quality assurance/control function, including escrow, loan default, and customer service activity reviews.
- Applies knowledge of and remains current on all guidelines.
- Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies.
- Provides cross-functional support to other areas where service or assistance is needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
