Job Summary
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance for desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
· Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
· Provide both onsite and remote technical support to end users.
· Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
· Set up and support email clients, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
· Maintain and track IT assets and inventory records.
· Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and service requests.
· Perform regular preventive maintenance and system updates.
· Assist with basic networking tasks, including troubleshooting LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity issues.
· Ensure timely resolution and closure of user support requests and service tickets.
Required Skills
· Good knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
· Hands-on experience in desktop and laptop troubleshooting.
· Basic understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
· Knowledge of printers, scanners, and other computer peripherals.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
· Diploma, BE, or B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or any graduate with relevant technical skills.
