Video Editor Application — Kavora
Kavora is looking for a creative Video Editor who understands modern short-form content and knows how to turn raw footage into engaging, high-performing videos for social media.
This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling through editing, understands pacing, and can create visually engaging reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form and long form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Add captions, transitions, sound effects, and visual elements to enhance engagement
- Work with the content and strategy team to bring creative ideas to life
- Maintain brand style and visual consistency across different client accounts
- Deliver edits quickly while managing multiple projects
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or CapCut
- Strong understanding of social media editing styles and trends
- Ability to create engaging pacing, hooks, and storytelling through editing
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Previous experience editing short-form content is preferred
Bonus Skills:
- Motion graphics and animations
- Color grading and sound design
- Understanding of viral content formats
