We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Commis Chef to support the kitchen team in food preparation and daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, maintain hygiene standards, and assist senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food as directed by the Chef.
- Ensure ingredients are properly washed, chopped, measured, and prepared.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
- Support senior chefs in plating and presentation of dishes.
- Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients.
- Follow kitchen safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining stock levels and informing the chef about shortages.
- Help with basic kitchen tasks including cleaning utensils and workstations.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field.
- Prior kitchen experience or culinary training is a plus.
Pay: ₹14,700.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
