Role Overview: Responsible for testing backend APIs through manual validation and automation
scripting. The role requires expertise in Postman for manual testing and Python-based automation frameworks for robust, scalable API test automation.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE). Proficiency in Postman for manual API testing. Experience in API automation frameworks (RestAssured, Newman, or similar). Familiarity with JSON, XML, and data validation. Basic programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation. Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps). Knowledge of API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI). Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field. 3–6 years of experience in API testing (manual + automation).
Pay: Up to ₹900,000.00 per year
