Role Overview
The Product Manager Intern will work closely with the Founder, Product Team, Designers, Developers, and Business Teams to help conceptualize, plan, and improve products and features. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology, problem-solving, user experience, and startup innovation.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in product strategy, user research, feature planning, product documentation, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to the development of Popop.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Research & Discovery
- Conduct market, industry, and competitor research.
- Analyze products, features, and user experiences of leading platforms.
- Identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for innovation.
- Gather and organize customer feedback and product insights.
Product Strategy
- Assist in defining product goals and feature priorities.
- Support product roadmap planning and execution.
- Participate in brainstorming and product ideation sessions.
- Research emerging trends and technologies relevant to the business.
Feature Planning
- Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
- Define user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Break down product ideas into actionable features and tasks.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure clear feature specifications.
User Experience & Product Design
- Work with UI/UX designers to improve user journeys.
- Review wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Identify usability issues and suggest improvements.
- Help ensure a user-centric approach throughout product development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with design, technology, marketing, and business teams.
- Track feature development and project progress.
- Assist in sprint planning and product reviews.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders.
Product Testing & Quality Assurance
- Test product features before release.
- Document bugs, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Verify implementation against requirements.
- Support user acceptance testing activities.
Data & Performance Analysis
- Monitor product metrics and performance indicators.
- Analyze user behavior and engagement trends.
- Prepare reports and recommendations based on findings.
- Assist in measuring the success of product initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills
- Product management fundamentals.
- Wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Miro, etc.).
- Project management tools (Notion, ClickUp, Trello, Jira, Asana).
- Basic understanding of software development processes.
- Market research and data analysis skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
