Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control and quality assurance procedures.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection plans before production.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Coordinate inspections with customers and third-party inspection agencies.
- Investigate product defects, customer complaints, and non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor process capability and recommend improvements to reduce defects and improve productivity.
- Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of measuring instruments and inspection gauges.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits by customers and certification bodies.
- Train production personnel on quality standards, inspection methods, and quality awareness.
- Prepare quality reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards, customer specifications, and statutory requirements.
- Participate in new product development and process validation activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience with inspection instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators, and CMM (preferred).
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
