Role Purpose
The Executive – Facilities is responsible for supporting day-to-day facilities operations across academic buildings, hostels, and campus infrastructure. The role ensures smooth coordination of soft and hard services, including housekeeping, security, maintenance coordination, vendor management, compliance, and customer support while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations
- Support day-to-day facilities operations across academic blocks, hostels, guest houses, and common areas.
- Ensure cleanliness, upkeep, and ambience of campus facilities as per defined standards.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for facility-related issues.
Soft Services Coordination
- Coordinate soft services such as housekeeping, security, pest control, waste management, and landscaping.
- Monitor service delivery and ensure adherence to operational standards.
Compliance & Inspections
- Assist in conducting facility inspections and audits.
- Ensure adherence to safety, statutory, environmental, and operational compliance requirements.
- Support implementation of SOPs, checklists, and service standards.
Customer Support & Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth functioning of academic and residential facilities.
- Support campus events and operational requirements in coordination with stakeholders.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain facility records, logs, MIS reports, and operational documentation.
- Prepare reports, trackers, and presentations using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Support budget tracking and expense monitoring activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, administration, or integrated facility services.
- Experience in educational institutions, commercial facilities, campuses, or residential environments preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Understanding of facilities management operations.
- Vendor coordination and service management skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic campus environment.
