Purpose of the Job
The purpose of the CA Associate – Statutory Audit role is to independently plan, execute, and complete statutory audit engagements in compliance with applicable auditing standards, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. The role aims to ensure accuracy, reliability, and statutory compliance of clients’ financial statements while delivering high-quality audit services within defined timelines. The CA Associate will also support senior management in risk assessment, audit reporting, and mentoring junior team members, thereby contributing to the firm’s audit quality, client satisfaction, and professional standards.
Work Responsibility
- Planning, executing, and completing statutory audits of companies, LLPs, firms, and other entities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable Accounting Standards (Ind AS / AS), Companies Act, 2013, and other relevant laws
- Preparing audit programs, working papers, and audit documentation
- Identifying audit issues, risk areas, and providing practical recommendations
- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Coordinating with clients for audit requirements, queries, and clarifications
- Guiding and reviewing work performed by article assistants and audit staff
- Assisting in finalization of audit reports and audit-related certifications
- Keeping updated with amendments in laws, standards, and regulatory requirements
Technical / Functional / Soft Skills Required
● Strong technical knowledge of Statutory Audit and Financial Reporting
● Working knowledge of Companies Act, Accounting Standards, and Auditing Standards
● Ability to handle audits independently with minimal supervision
● Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
● Proficiency in MS Excel and audit documentation tools
● Strong communication and client-handling skills
● Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Pay: From ₹600,000.00 per year
