Job Summary
We are seeking a talented UI Engineer (EL4) with 4+ years of software engineering experience to design and develop modern, scalable, and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, and REST API integration. The role requires building high-performance front-end applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to enhance software development productivity is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using Angular.
- Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance front-end components, modules, and services.
- Develop clean, well-tested, and efficient code using TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS while following industry best practices.
- Integrate Angular applications with RESTful APIs and backend services to support business workflows.
- Perform UI validation, form validation, and data handling to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across applications.
- Optimize application performance, improve load times, and ensure compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI coding assistants and code-generation tools to streamline development workflows and improve productivity.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions.
- Evaluate emerging front-end technologies, Angular features, and AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance profiling to ensure code quality, accessibility, maintainability, and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or 4+ years of equivalent software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience developing modern web applications.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- 2+ years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- 2+ years of experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs or backend services.
- 2+ years of experience using modern front-end development tools such as npm, Angular CLI, Git, and CI/CD build and deployment pipelines.
- At least 1 year of experience in UI validation, reactive forms, component-based architecture, or front-end performance optimization.
- Experience using AI coding assistants or code-generation tools (such as GitHub Copilot or Codex) in software development.
