Job Summary:
Ideal candidate will develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for machining precision components. Responsible for creating machining programs using Mastercam software, improving machining processes, reducing cycle times, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
Duties (Authority)
Prepare programs for Lathe & Milling upon understanding the scope, efficiency, output, troubleshooting if any and advise on procuring spares and better machines for improving the performance.
Duties (Responsibility)
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining operations.
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, technical specifications, and GD&T requirements.
Generate tool paths and ensure machining programs achieve optimum productivity and quality.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure manufacturability of components.
Perform prove-out and validation of CNC programs on the shop floor.
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
Improve machining efficiency through cycle time reduction and process optimization.
Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and company quality standards.
Support new product development and prototype machining activities.
Maintain program documentation, setup sheets, tooling lists, and process instructions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and manufacturing performance.
Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs that ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing of precision-machined components while meeting quality, customer, and production requirements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or
Certification in CNC Programming. or
Masters in Manufacturing Management would be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 5Years of machine operator / programmer experience with exposure in reading blueprint, manufacturing diagrams or drawings & operating instructions
Proven experience as CNC Programmer(AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS, MASTER CAM, FEATURE CAM)
Skills and Competency:
· Proven expertise in Mastercam Programming for CNC Milling and Turning Centers.
· Strong experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machining.
· Experience manufacturing components for the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Heavy Engineering sector.
· Strong understanding of metal cutting principles and machining practices.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
· Knowledge of CNC machine controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, or Haas.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
