We are looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to nurture the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development of young children (typically ages 2–4). The ideal candidate will create a safe, stimulating, and joyful learning environment that supports each child's individual growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons, activities, and play-based learning experiences
- Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and record each child's developmental progress and share updates with parents
- Foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills through structured and unstructured play
- Maintain classroom hygiene, safety standards, and supervise children at all times
- Manage daily routines including meals, naps, and toilet training
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding child's progress, behavior, and needs
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, assistants, and school staff
- Handle minor conflicts, tantrums, and behavioral issues with patience and appropriate techniques
- Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, and parent-teacher meetings
- Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and school policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (preferred)
- Prior experience working with toddlers/preschoolers (1–3 years preferred; freshers may apply)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Basic knowledge of child safety, first aid, and hygiene practices
- Ability to manage a classroom of young children calmly and effectively
- Good organizational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualities
- Training in Montessori/play-based/other early learning methodologies
- Multilingual ability (based on school requirement)
- Musical, storytelling, or art & craft skills
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
