Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QuickBooks Specialist to manage accounting data, financial reporting, and business MIS reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & QuickBooks Management
- Import and validate IIF and CSV files into QuickBooks Desktop.
- Manage invoices, payroll-related entries, and financial transactions.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting data.
- Reconcile financial records and maintain ledgers.
- Troubleshoot data import issues and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end reporting, audits, and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain documentation and data mapping templates for imports.
MIS Reporting & Analysis
- Develop and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and trackers.
- Analyze financial and operational data to generate business insights.
- Prepare periodic management reports with high accuracy.
- Automate reporting processes using Excel tools and functions.
- Monitor data quality and ensure timely report delivery.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or MIS Reporting.
- Mandatory experience with QuickBooks (Desktop preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- IF Functions
- Data Validation
- Power Query
- Experience in payroll processing and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling IIF and CSV imports in QuickBooks.
- Exposure to Excel automation, Power Query, or VBA.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to SaaS or Healthcare industries is an added advantage.
