Job Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for carrying out Line Quality Check (LQC) and Outgoing Quality Check (OQC) activities in the manufacturing process of copper and aluminium tubing, capillary tubes, and related components used in air conditioners and refrigerators. The role ensures products meet customer specifications, Japanese quality standards, and internal quality requirements before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
LQC (Line Quality Check)
* Perform in-process inspection during production.
* Check dimensions, thickness, diameter, length, surface finish, and bending quality of copper/aluminium tubes.
* Verify capillary tube size and specifications as per drawing/control plan.
* Monitor production parameters and quality checkpoints.
* Conduct visual inspection and measurement using instruments.
* Ensure operators follow SOP and quality standards.
* Maintain hourly inspection records and rejection reports.
* Inform production and QA team about abnormalities immediately.
* Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

OQC (Outgoing Quality Check)
* Perform final inspection before material dispatch.
* Verify packing quality, labeling, quantity, and product traceability.
* Ensure products meet customer specifications and shipment standards.
* Check appearance, dimensions, cleanliness, and sealing condition.
* Approve finished goods for dispatch after inspection.
* Prepare OQC reports and dispatch quality documents.
* Handle customer rejection analysis and containment activities if required.

Required Skills
* Knowledge of quality inspection methods.
* Understanding of copper/aluminium tubing manufacturing.
* Basic knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration components.
* Ability to read drawings and specifications.
* Knowledge of measuring instruments:
* Vernier Caliper
* Micrometer
* Height Gauge
* Thickness Gauge
* Plug Gauge
Knowledge of:
* 5S
* Kaizen
* Poka-Yoke
* QC Tools
* Good observation and problem-solving skills.
* Basic computer knowledge (Excel, inspection reports).

Qualification
* Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical
* Experience in quality inspection preferred.

* Fresher or 1–3 years experience in manufacturing quality.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
