- Assist in fabric sourcing and procurement, supporting senior team members in identifying suitable fabrics based on design requirements, cost, availability, and timelines.
- Maintain and update fabric inventory records, ensuring all materials are accurately logged, labeled, and tracked to prevent delays in production.
- Coordinate sample requests and swatch management, ensuring timely preparation, organization, and dispatch of samples to clients and external vendors.
- Liaise with suppliers, assisting in order placements, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues related to timelines or quality under guidance from senior merchandisers.
- Generate and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for fabrics, ensuring correct details and alignment with budgets and delivery schedules.
- Support the production team by updating and monitoring timelines for fabric delivery and production status, escalating delays or discrepancies proactively.
- Assist with scheduling deliveries, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and coordinating quality checks.
- Prepare reports on fabric usage, trends, or sourcing updates using Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
- Support design and merchandising teams by organizing and maintaining fabric libraries, mood boards, and reference materials.
- Stay informed on fabric trends and innovations, contributing research and insights to team discussions and sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate across departments, ensuring effective communication and execution of projects in a fast-paced creative environment.
