Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SME in Microsoft Fabric to lead end-to-end data platform implementations and drive enterprise data, analytics, and AI transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SAP S4,SAP BW- SAC, advanced analytics, and AI/ML capabilities, along with strong stakeholder management skills and experience integrating complex enterprise source systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Fabric solutions, including architecture, design, development, and deployment.
Drive advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases , enabling predictive, prescriptive, and real-time analytics across the organization.
Design and implement modern data architectures using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Real-Time Analytics).
Leverage Fabric-native AI capabilities , including:
Data science workflows
Machine learning model development and deployment
Integration with Azure AI / OpenAI services
Build and operationalize AI-powered insights and intelligent dashboards using Power BI.
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders, aligning data, analytics, and AI strategies with business objectives.
Integrate and manage data from complex enterprise systems such as:
SAP S/4HANA
SuccessFactors
Ariba
Concur
Salesforce
Define and implement data governance frameworks , ensuring data quality, lineage, and compliance.
Establish and enforce data security best practices , including role-based access, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
Enable self-service analytics and AI-driven insights for business users leveraging data agents (Copilot/M365) on top Fabric models/tables .
Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and semantic models , incorporating advanced analytics features.
Mentor teams on data engineering, analytics, and AI best practices .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data science, engineering, and business stakeholders.
Skill Requirements
20+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, data science, or enterprise data platforms .
Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric ,PBI.
Proven experience in Advanced Analytics and AI/ML , including:
Drive adoption of AI-powered Data Agents on Microsoft Fabric , enabling conversational analytics, automated insights generation, and intelligent data interaction for business users-(Copilot/M365) on top Fabric models/tables .
Predictive modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis
Machine learning frameworks and lifecycle (training, validation, deployment)
Experience with Python/R for data science workloads
Deep expertise in:
Power BI (PBI) – advanced data modeling, DAX, AI visuals, performance optimization
Data governance & security frameworks
End-to-end data lifecycle management
Experience leveraging AI services (Azure AI, OpenAI, Cognitive Services) within data platforms.
Strong experience with enterprise system integrations , especially:
SAP S/4HANA
SAP SuccessFactors
SAP Ariba
SAP Concur
Salesforce
SAP BW/BPC
Solid understanding of modern data architecture patterns (Lakehouse, Data lake, medallion, data mesh concepts, data shortcuts to minimize duplication of data .
Experience enabling self-service BI, analytics, and AI adoption including conversational AI/BI models
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills .
Other Requirements
Microsoft certifications (Fabric, Azure Data Scientist, Azure Data Engineer, Power BI).
Experience in MLOps and model lifecycle management .
Experience with RAG architectures, vector search, and knowledge grounding within Fabric.
Knowledge of Responsible AI, model governance, and ethical AI practices .
Familiarity with real-time analytics and streaming data pipelines .
Experience in large-scale enterprise data & AI transformation programs .
