Role Description This is a full-time role for a Relationship Manager. The Relationship Manager will build and maintain long-term relationships with individual and corporate clients, serving as the primary point of contact for insurance needs. Daily responsibilities include understanding client requirements, preparing or coordinating insurance proposals, and explaining product options, terms, and coverage in clear language. The role involves following up on renewals, managing policy documentation, and coordinating with internal teams and insurers to resolve queries, claims, and service issues. The Relationship Manager will also identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, maintain accurate CRM records, and prepare periodic reports on client engagement and business performance.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to understand client needs, build trust, and provide proactive support.
- Proficiency in communication and negotiation, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and professional presentation skills.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including task prioritisation, follow-up discipline, and accurate record keeping.
- Comfort with digital tools and remote collaboration platforms, including CRM systems, video conferencing, and standard office software.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client risks, interpret insurance information, and recommend suitable solutions.
- Previous experience in insurance broking, banking, financial services, or a client-facing sales/advisory role is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is desirable; relevant certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup, demonstrate accountability for targets, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kochi, Kerala
