A respiratory therapist cares for patients with breathing or heart-lung problems. They test lung function, give oxygen and aerosol treatments, and manage ventilators in intensive care. They work with all ages, from newborn babies to older adults. Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient breathing conditions and review medical history.
- Perform diagnostic tests like measuring lung capacity and blood oxygen levels.
- Administer aerosol drugs, gas, and oxygen therapies.
- Set up, operate, and monitor mechanical ventilators and life support.
- Respond to emergency codes and assist with clearing airways.
- Collaborate with doctors and nurses to build and update treatment plans.
- Teach patients how to use inhalers and home breathing equipment
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
