Key Responsibilities
· Manage and support enterprise OpenShift 4.x clusters running on Azure IaaS
· Monitor and maintain control plane nodes, worker nodes, etcd, ingress, DNS, and machine-config operators
· Perform OCP z-stream patching and y-stream upgrades
· Manage node provisioning, decommissioning, autoscaling, and worker pool operations
· Maintain Azure infrastructure including VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Managed Disks, and Storage Accounts
· Support Terraform, YAML-based infrastructure provisioning, and Azure DevOps pipelines
· Manage monitoring, alerting, certificate renewals, and incident response
· Participate in DR drills, backup/restore operations, and production on-call support
· Coordinate with Red Hat support and infrastructure/application teams during outages
Required Skills & Experience
· 5+ years of Kubernetes/OpenShift administration experience
· Strong hands-on expertise in Red Hat OpenShift 4.x and Azure IaaS
· Experience managing enterprise-scale production clusters
· Strong understanding of etcd, ingress, DNS, Machine API, and cluster operators
· Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Azure DevOps, and YAML
· Hands-on experience with patching, upgrades, backup/recovery, and DR operations
· Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
· Knowledge of certificates, TLS/SSL, RBAC, and identity integration
Preferred Skills
· Red Hat OpenShift certifications
· Azure certifications
· Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana
· Exposure to GitOps, ArgoCD, and container security tools
· Scripting skills in Bash or Python
Support Model
· 9×5 support for non-production environments
· 24×7 on-call support for P1 production incidents
· Planned weekend maintenance support during upgrades and patching

· Role is focused strictly on infrastructure and OpenShift platform operations
· Application development, workload troubleshooting, CI/CD ownership, and namespace/application RBAC are out of scope

Pay: ₹688,587.93 - ₹1,888,554.02 per year
