Key Responsibilities
Plan, monitor, and coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
Prepare and monitor dispatch plans to ensure timely shipment of finished goods.
Coordinate powder coating schedules and outsourced production activities with third-party vendors.
Monitor raw material availability and maintain optimum inventory levels.
Generate purchase requisitions/orders for raw materials and follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory, production, and dispatch records in ERP/MIS systems.
Coordinate with the Sales team regarding customer orders, priorities, and delivery schedules.
Resolve customer queries related to production status, dispatch timelines, and order execution.
Work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
Participate in management and product development meetings, contributing ideas for process improvements and operational eAiciency.
Supervise production supervisors and shop-floor operators to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and dispatch reports for management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
3–8 years of experience in production planning, operations, sales coordination, or manufacturing.
Experience in the metal false ceiling, sheet metal fabrication, building materials, or related manufacturing industry will be preferred.
