Design electrical systems for heavy machinery (crushers, mills, plant equipment).
Develop electrical layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams for substations and plant distribution.
Perform load calculations and select/sizing of motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and protection systems.
Design power distribution, lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, mining safety standards, and industry regulations.
Conduct root cause analysis and resolve electrical system failures.
Design and implement PLC, SCADA, and HMI-based automation systems.
Identify and implement automation and IIoT solutions to improve plant performance and predictive maintenance.
Coordinate with mechanical, procurement, manufacturing, and field teams for system integration and commissioning.
Lead project execution including timelines, budgets, vendor management, and team supervision.
Maintain technical documentation and support audits and regulatory compliance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Master’s preferred).
12+ years of experience in electrical design and industrial automation (mining/heavy industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of power system design, equipment sizing, and motor control applications.
Experience in PLC programming, SCADA, HMI systems, and plant automation architecture.
Familiarity with ISO/IEC standards and electrical safety regulations.
Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability.
