Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined Business Development Engineer who will play a key role in driving business growth by understanding customer requirements, presenting technical solutions, and building strong client relationships. The role combines technical understanding with business development activities to support the promotion and adoption of our enterprise SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company’s software solutions and services
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their business and technical requirements
- Present product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals to clients
- Coordinate with product and technical teams to deliver suitable customer solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Support lead generation, follow-ups, and conversion activities
- Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, and commercial discussions
- Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product improvements and business strategy
- Maintain records of client interactions, sales activities, and business opportunities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of software systems, SaaS platforms, or enterprise applications
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them to business clients
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach
- Strong interest in business development and client engagement
Preferred Skills
- Internship or project experience in business development, technical sales, customer success, or software support
- Familiarity with APIs, SaaS products, CRM tools, or enterprise software solutions
- Basic knowledge of SQL or software technologies is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
