Job Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, dealer network expansion, and sales growth for Amaron batteries within the assigned territory. The role focuses on trade marketing, retail promotions, distributor branding, and market penetration to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement territory-wise marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
- Increase market penetration for Amaron automotive and inverter batteries.
- Identify new market segments and business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities (pricing, schemes, branding).
- Support expansion of dealer, sub-dealer, and retailer network.
- Plan and execute retailer engagement programs and loyalty schemes.
- Conduct regular market visits to strengthen channel relationships.
- Ensure proper branding visibility at dealer counters and retail outlets.
- Organize local promotional activities.
- Coordinate in shop branding, display boards, glow signs, and POS materials.
- Execute company schemes and seasonal promotional campaigns.
- Track and evaluate ROI of marketing initiatives.
- Manage social media marketing and local digital campaigns.
- Coordinate local advertising (print, radio, hoardings, banners).
- Generate leads through WhatsApp, Google listings, and online platforms.
- Monitor online reviews and brand reputation.
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Provide marketing support materials and sales tools.
- Analyze sales data and market trends for growth planning.
- Prepare weekly/monthly marketing performance reports.
- Plan and manage marketing budgets efficiently.
- Track campaign expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Submit regular MIS reports to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in marketing, preferably in automotive batteries, auto parts, FMCG, or distribution business.
- Strong understanding of distributor and dealer network marketing.
