Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Unload incoming shipments, cross-verify deliveries against purchase orders or bills of lading, and check goods for quality, quantity, and damages.
- Inventory Control: Track stock movements using bin cards, ledger books, or specialized software, and conduct regular cycle counts to eliminate system variance.
- Storage & Optimization: Arrange materials according to safety parameters like weight, temperature, and size, utilizing inventory methods like FIFO (First-In, First-Out).
- Material Issuance: Dispense stock to authorized departments or personnel based on approved requisition slips, ensuring the exact quantities are logged.
- Reorder Management: Monitor low-stock thresholds and report shortages to the warehouse in-charge or procurement team to trigger timely restocks.
- Documentation: Maintain clean digital and manual documentation, process returns for damaged items, and prepare material received reports (MRR).
- Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain clean walkways, ensure clear fire exits, and handle hazardous materials or heavy machinery like forklifts safely
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
