The Quality Controller is a hands-on floor role responsible for executing tactical inspection routines throughout the foam pouring, block cutting, and mattress assembly lifecycle. This position ensures that daily shop-floor processing complies strictly with foam density, dimensions, compression deflection, and aesthetic quilting standards.

Key Responsibilities
- In-Process & Final Inspection: Perform continuous dimensional and physical checks on raw foam blocks, sliced sheets, and final upholstered mattresses.
- Testing Equipment Operation: Handle and maintain laboratory testing equipment such as Indentation Load Deflection (ILD) testers, resilience testers, weighing scales, and tape measures.
- Defect Segregation: Immediately tag and isolate off-spec foam blocks (e.g., pinholes, blowouts, hard spots) or poorly stitched mattress covers, raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Line Clearance: Provide formal quality sign-offs during product transitions (e.g., switching line production from Orthopedic Memory Foam to Bonded Foam mattresses).
- Aesthetic Audit: Conduct final inspections on quilting alignment, zipper functionality, thread trimming, and packaging wrap integrity before dispatch.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Diploma / Graduate in Science or Engineering.
- High attention to detail with physical objectivity regarding foam textures and textile stitching flaws.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
