We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer / Manual QA Tester to join our Quality Assurance team at our Noida office. In this role, you will help ensure that our software products are reliable, user-friendly, and ready for students, instructors, admissions teams, and internal operations.
Role Overview
As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of SisuCare’s software applications through thorough testing and validation.
The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for identifying defects, strong analytical skills, clear communication ability, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. You should be comfortable testing web applications, mobile apps, LMS features, admin dashboards, forms, APIs, and AI-powered tools.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and specifications.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project documentation.
Test Execution:
- Execute manual test cases to validate the functionality and performance of software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with developers to facilitate their resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been addressed.
- Functional and Non-Functional Testing:
- Perform functional testing to validate that the software meets specified requirements.
- Conduct non-functional testing, including performance, security, and usability testing, as needed.
Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with team members, developers, and project managers to provide timely updates on testing progress and issues.
- Collaborate with other members of the Quality Assurance team to improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed and organized test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Provide clear and concise reports on testing activities and results.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Actively participate in retrospectives and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and emerging trends in software testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle.
- Familiarity with various testing tools and techniques.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation testing tools.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
